About Ocean Dunes

Ideally located on the ocean, amid four acres of a tranquil nature preserve of forever-wild Atlantic Double Dunes Preserve, Ocean Dunes offers private access to the beach and a short walk to Amagansett’s charming Main Street. One and two bedroom resort units with private balconies available for rent. The property has an outdoor heated pool and private beach access.

We stayed at Ocean Dunes for a long weekend and couldn’t have been happier. The location is unbeatable—steps from the beach and just minutes from Amagansett Village. Ocean Dunes is one of those places that instantly makes you slow down. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the pool area is quiet and relaxing, and the private beach access is a huge plus. Our room had a lovely coastal feel and plenty of space for our family. It felt intimate and uncrowded—such a rare find in the Hamptons. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful beach retreat.
This was our first stay at Ocean Dunes and it exceeded expectations. The resort feels private and serene, yet you’re close to great restaurants, shops, and bike paths. The ocean views are stunning, and the beach was never crowded. Everything felt well cared for, from the rooms to the landscaping. If you’re looking for a low-key, authentic Hamptons beach experience, this is it.

General Policy
  • The Ocean Dunes Resort is a non-smoking property.
  • Pets are strictly prohibited.
  • Maximum Occupany: Two occupants maximum per one bedroom apartment. Four occupants maximum per two bedroom apartment.
  • Guests are not permitted to have non-renting guests on site.
  • One parking space is provided to each reservation.
  • Quiet hours are strictly enforced from 10PM-9AM daily.
  • The pool is open Memorial Day-Labor Day from 8AM-Dusk Daily.
  • Deposits are non-refundable within 30 days of the reservation, 10% Cancellation fee enforced for all cancellations prior to 30 days before arrival.
  • $20 per day Resort Fee is added to each reservation.
  • Check In is 4PM on day of your arrival and Check Out is 11AM on the day of your departure.
Cancellation Policy

Cancel by 3 PM local hotel time at least 30 days prior to arrival to avoid a penalty charge equal to 100% of your deposit. If cancelled more than 30 days before check in date, a cancellation fee of 10% will be charged.

Guarantee Policy

A deposit equal to 50% of your total stay is required at the time of booking and will be charged to your credit card.
